What THIS vegan eats

Vegan party food

hw1I am on a few vegan groups online and one question that keeps coming up is what vegan food can you use for a buffet style party? This might be a party for adults or kids but this question seems to come up a few times a week. So here are some of my ideas to get you started.

I am concentrating on things that can be served cold rather than heated and eaten straight away. If you want to go for hot food you could got for a taco, fajita, or chilli bar or even a jacket potato or grilled sandwich bar. With hot food the list is practically endless however the question is normally about food that can be made ahead of time and left out.

Note: Obviously, when I say a dairy/meat/egg product I am talking about vegan mock versions.

I have been researching vegan recipes all week, after finding out that I have egg sensitivity, along with a possible dairy intolerance (on top of already having celiac sprue and shellfish allergies). Since my diet is mostly vegetarian, it didn’t seem like much of an adjustment. However, it means I have to prepare everything from scratch. This was a very helpful list of foods that I can use to start looking up recipes. Warm wishes for the weekend. xo

There is so much choice of vegan food and many people find they are introduced to having more choice than they did before going vegan.

Vegan blogs, Instagram, and Facebook groups can be an amazing source of information and support.

I hope the transition goes smoothly. 😀

You’re very kind. I haven’t had a great experience with YouTube so far but I’ll check these others. Thank you again.
